When she was 14 she became the youngest tennis player to be awarded the Fed Cup and compete in professional tennis. The player reached the U.S Open when she was just 15 years old, and when she was 16 reached up to the semi-finals of Wimbledon. Unfortunately, she was forced to retire from professional tennis at the age of 21 because of severe back problems.
