Mena Alexa Suvari, born 1979. She is an American model, fashion designer and actress. After beginning her career as a model, she began acting as a guest on 90's TV shows like Boy Meets World and High Incident. The film debut came with the drama Nowhere which was that was released in the year 1997. After her performances in American Beauty (for which she received an award from the BAFTA Award) and American Pie that attracted much attention, she completed the transition to major parts. She's appeared alongside the co-star of American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the role of lead for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun and Trauma, a thriller movie from 2004 was her second appearance. In 2004, she appeared on HBO's drama Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award for 2005 in the category of Outstanding Ensemble. In 2008 her filmography included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, the version of The Garden of Eden and several other movies.
